This product is a selective pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide.
For soil treatment: the herbicide takes effect via contact and absorption by weed sprouts or seedlings.
For post-emergence application: weeds absorb the agent through above-ground tissues. After entering plants, the agent accumulates in vigorously growing parts to inhibit growth and cause decay and death of weed tissues.
